Advertising (Google AdSense)

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses this information at Google’s advertising policies, and manage personalized ads at Google Ad Settings or opt out of some third-party vendors at aboutads.info.

Advertising measurement (X)

We sometimes run ads on X (formerly Twitter). To see whether those ads are working, we use the X pixel, a small piece of code from X. When you visit our site, it can send X information such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and your IP address, and X may set or read cookies. This helps us count visits that come from our X ads, and X may use it to show you relevant ads. We don’t share your name, email, or order details with X through the pixel. Analytics (Rybbit)

We use Rybbit, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool, to count page views and clicks on links (for example, links to ChurchofJesusChrist.org). It does not set cookies and does not build advertising profiles. We do not use Google Analytics.

Shop: orders, payments, and fulfillment

Our shop runs on WooCommerce. When you order, we collect the details needed to complete it: your name, email, shipping address, and order contents.

• Cart cookies: WooCommerce sets cookies (such as woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, and wp_woocommerce_session_*) to remember your cart. They are needed for the shop to work.
• Payments (Stripe): when card payments are enabled, they are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our server. Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
• Fulfillment (Printful): orders are printed and shipped by Printful, which receives your name, shipping address, and order details to make and deliver your items. See Printful’s privacy policy.

Embedded videos (YouTube)

Some articles embed YouTube videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube does not store cookies for these embeds until you play a video; once you do, Google’s privacy policy applies.

Links to other sites

We link to ChurchofJesusChrist.org and other sites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the shop cart may not work without them. You can also limit how X uses your activity for ads in your X account’s privacy settings. To ask about or delete information from an order, email us.
